Are you an expert 3D artist known for your photo-realistic, engaging work? 
Are you an ideas-driven creative at heart, with a highly organized work flow and infectious enthusiasm to “get it done”?
We seek an accomplished 3D Artist whose creative capabilities are perfectly balanced with their results-driven focus. You will provide artistic direction of visual assets including material creation, lighting, composition, and post-production for Umbra visual products. Under the direction of the Visual Content Lead, you will manage the overall catalog of product images for the Brand Studio.
What you’ll do …
  • Set and consistently achieve world class quality 3D rendering work in portraying Umbra branded products
  • Produce product images for the web, catalogue, sell sheets, promotional brochures, and advertising
  • Work closely with project managers, product designers and graphic designers to ascertain the features and benefits of new products and conveying them in shot concepts, layout specifications, propping, lighting and CAD modelling
  • Perform image creation, retouching, color and material correction, Photoshop enhancements, preparations for in-house graphics and the Marketing Department as required
  • Maintain all aspects of the digital workflow and archiving process including saving files to digital asset server using established file type protocols and profiles, archiving all image files to hard disk daily and cataloging images into Portfolio
  • Maintain and update company-wide product image library, ensuring that the latest images are uploaded and available
  • Complete project management responsibilities of all projects
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers and with the graphics, design, marketing and sales department
What you’ll bring …
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Graphic, Product or Interior Design is required. Specific courses in 3D Artistry, CAD and Rendering are an asset.
  • 3 years’ experience creating and working with 3D models
  • Excellent knowledge of 3D rendering software, Solidworks and Adobe Photoshop. 3D Keyshot knowledge is a huge asset
  • Keen eye for composition, lighting and photorealism is a must
  • Excellent understanding of 3D modelling, shaders, lighting and scene assembly
  • Proven ability to translate and understand product and Company brand through medium
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple initiatives with other creative people and projects simultaneously with high attention to detail
  • Strong creative capabilities perfectly balanced with being results-driven and thriving on wearing both hats at the same time
  • Works independently and collaboratively as part of a team within strict deadlines
  • Polished, professional presentation with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization skills and a strong sense of urgency with a customer service mindset
  • Indisputable integrity as well as credibility and demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others
  • Strong work ethic with proven ability to adapt to changing priorities with a positive attitude
  • Mature analytical and evidence-based decision-making style
