What you’ll do …
We are looking for an accomplished and proven 3D Artist whose creative capabilities are perfectly balanced with their results driven focus. The candidate will provide artistic directions of visual assets including material creation, lighting, composition, and post-production for Umbra visual products under the guidance of visual content lead. With the direction of the Visual Content Lead, you will manage the overall catalog of product images for the Brand Studio.
• Set and consistently achieve world class quality 3D rendering work in portraying Umbra branded products
• Produce product images for the web, catalogue, sell sheets, promotional brochures, and advertising
• Work closely with project managers, product designers and graphic designers to ascertain the features and benefits of new products and conveying those into the visual representation of product: shot concepts, layout specifications, propping, lighting and CAD modelling
• Image creation, retouching, color & material correction, Photoshop enhancements, preparations for in-house graphics and marketing departments as required
• Maintain all aspects of the digital workflow and archiving process including: saving files to digital asset server using established file type protocols and profiles, archiving all image files to hard disk on a daily basis and cataloging images into Portfolio
• Maintain and update company-wide product image library, ensuring that the latest images are uploaded and available
• Knowledge of Solid Works and 3D Keyshot is a huge asset
• Ability to create and edit CAD models using 3DS Max and Solid Works
• Complete project management responsibility of all projects
• Maintain internal relationships with the graphics, design, marketing and sales department
• Maintain External relationships with vendors and various suppliers
What you’ll bring …
Education: Completion of college level education - (Graphic / Product / Interior Design) - specific courses in 3D artistry / CAD / Rendering an asset.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience creating / working with 3D models.

Technical Skills:
• Excellent knowledge of 3D rendering software, 3DS Max, FStorm, V-Ray, Solidworks
• Excellent image post-production skills using Photoshop
• Keen eye for composition, lighting, photorealism is a must
• Excellent understanding of 3D modelling, shaders, lighting and scene assembly
• Ability to translate and understand product/company brand through medium
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to translate concept sketches and storyboards into 3D renderings
• Ability to collaborate with other creative people day to day
• Proven track record of creative and functional work
