What you’ll do …
• Manage and grow regional sales and revenue for the Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina region by working closely with existing accounts and representing our brand to independent retailers aligned with the Company’s brands, and design distribution goals.
• Identify, qualify and acquire new retail business partners to drive regional sales growth through networking, cold calling, in-person visits and regular follow up using a monthly travel and customer appointment plan.
• Develop and build profitable relationships with retail accounts and maximize sales through your merchandising knowledge of the product, the brand and the market.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support by responding to and resolving customer inquiries to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Communicate regularly with the Sales Manager on activity, results, weekly work plans and monthly/annual region analysis.
• Ensure effective two-way communication across all internal departments, including Finance, Logistics and Customer Operations, to support effective management of your retail customer base, report customer feedback and identify product and competitor issues impacting sales.
• Collaborate with management to develop new integrated marketing strategies to raise brand awareness and enhance market position.
• Develop and meet monthly new customer targets and exceed monthly regional sales goals and KPIs.
• Coordinate regional tradeshows, open houses and related sales promotional events.
• Stay current on the competitive market and identify emerging trends and new business growth opportunities.

What you’ll bring …
• Equivalent of a post-secondary degree with a preference for Business, Marketing or similar program is required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, account management, business development or a related environment (experience with independent retailers is an asset).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook and knowledge of Ecommerce and social media is required. 
• Must be comfortable working from home office using Company-supplied tools.
• Weekly travel required 80% of the time and must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
• Solid business acumen with proven analytical, merchandising and relationship building skills.
• Proven success in growing sales territory and revenue by prospecting new accounts and closing business.
• Demonstrated ability to aggressively exceed sales targets, persuade and handle objections.
• Independent thinker with the ability to self-direct and self-motivate in a high-pressured environment.
• Enthusiastic and customer-centric with polished professional presentation and well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and organization skills with a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize.
• Strong work ethic and adaptive with proven ability to maintain a positive attitude.
• Indisputable integrity as well as credibility and demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others.
• Mature analytical and evidence-based decision-making style.
