What you’ll do …
 
Deliver Great Product – You will manage product lifecycle from concept to launch for Kitchen and Waste Cans. You will provide leadership and direction to the design and sourcing teams. You will collaborate with design, marketing, and sourcing to develop products on schedule that compliment and/or expand the current product portfolio. 
 
Drive Sales and Profit Growth – You will identify product design growth opportunities for the global market.   You will achieve category sales and margin growth objectives in support of speed to market goals.
 
Be the Category Expert – You will research and analyze the competitive global market to build a market map and identify consumer trends. You will manage your category product assortment and establish market pricing. To make this happen, you will coordinate and facilitate brainstorming sessions, packaging and artwork briefs, sourcing meetings and product line reviews.     
 
What you’ll bring …
 
Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in consumer goods; preferably in functional home products industry with experience dealing with global retail market.  Post-secondary degree or equivalent with a preference for Product Design, Design Engineering & Manufacturing, Injection Molding, Business, Marketing or similar program.
 
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Product Management Systems with a strong attention to detail and highly organized.
 
Communication: You’re an active listener who promotes open dialogue and facilitates decision making. You have a strong ability to write reports and business correspondence. You are prepared and confident presenting information, get to the point and handle questions adroitly.
 
Critical Thinking: You are a versatile thinker, applying common sense and objectivity to evaluate and determine a solution. You balance an analytical approach with a people-centric perspective when problem solving. You are confident and persuasive with unquestionable integrity. You are a strong team player with demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others.
 
Business Acumen & Decision Making: You take a “business first” approach, anticipating business needs and applying expertise within this context. You are open minded and assertive in pursuing issues to closure. You provide input to create improved processes that increase efficiency and productivity.  You thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure.
