What you’ll do …
 
  • Communicate with customer accounts daily and promptly to assist the Sales Manager understand issues and opportunities within each account.
  • Assist in the management and set up of accounts such as completing and maintaining Umbra merchandise item set ups, sample requests, preparing quotes and reviewing vendor compliance manuals
  • Review and investigate customer chargebacks and report findings to the Sales Manager
  • Participate in customer meetings and assist with presentations as needed
  • Assist in developing product planograms, customized product programs, quotes and presentations for customer and internal meetings
  • Prepare sales reports and analysis for management including reports on sales, account activity and product performance leveraging both internal programs and customer POS reporting systems.
  • Assist in other administrative duties as assigned
 
 
What you’ll bring …
 
  • Equivalent of a university/college degree in Business Administration
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales coordination, administration or in a similar role. Experience with major Canadian CPG retailors (e.g. HBC/Canadian Tire/Walmart) is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Power Point and reporting tools is required; SAP knowledge is an asset
  • Well-developed sales reporting, problem solving, analytical and mathematical skills with high attention to detail
  •  Demonstrated ability to independently resolve customer concerns in a fast-paced environment within strict deadlines
  • Demonstrated administrative and organizational abilities with well-developed time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Polished, calm professional presentation with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization skills and a strong sense of urgency
  • Indisputable integrity as well as credibility and demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others
  • Strong work ethic with proven ability to adapt to changing priorities with a positive attitude
  • Mature analytical and evidence-based decision-making style
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an appreciation for design, trends and housewares
