What you’ll do …
  •  Grow brand awareness and drive revenue through project management, activation and execution of business-to-business related activities including publications, presentations, open house events, tradeshows and on-line messaging mediums on a global stage
  •  Provide support to the Umbra Concept Store through creative planograms and visual merchandising of product, fixture and window displays
  •  Manage local and international tradeshow budgets and activities such as scheduling attendees, setting up travel and accommodations, shipping logistics, product delivery, exhibitor catalogue and on-site set-up of booth layout and props
  • Order, replenish and merchandise sample displays in the showroom
  •  Compile and execute stock orders pertaining to trade publication and related materials
  • Manage work back schedules with the Brand Studio, Global Sales, Category and Product Design departments and promote relationships with outside vendors
  • Manage reference material and compile content for Marketing memos, catalogues, pricelists, local and international publications, internal client requests and meetings
  • Coordinate and evaluate customer direct initiatives and programs for global accounts
  • Develop collateral, sales support tools and product launch plans
  • Assist with the planning and execution of the Annual General Meeting, open houses, departmental and other internal social events
  •  Assist in reconciling monthly expenses and completing other administrative duties as assigned
What you’ll bring …
  • Equivalent of a university/college degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in marketing, catalogue and print project management, tradeshow organization or in a similar role (retail/wholesale experience is an asset)
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Power Point and creative design process is required (Knowledge of graphic design platforms is an asset)
  • Global experience required working with marketing teams in Canada, USA and Europe
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects concurrently within strict deadlines and budget constraints
  •  Strong people skills with demonstrated ability to be a team player
  • Polished professional presentation with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization skills with a strong sense of urgency
  • Indisputable integrity as well as credibility and demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others
  • Strong work ethic with proven ability to adapt to changing priorities with a positive attitude
  • Mature analytical and evidence-based decision-making style
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an appreciation for design, trends and housewares
